Customer session
A secure, HttpOnly session cookie is used after registration or sign-in. It lets the server verify the current customer without exposing the session token to browser scripts. Signing out revokes the session and clears the cookie.
Shopping bag
The bag uses local storage under northhouse:cart:v2 so your current selection can remain on this device. The stored values are treated as untrusted and price and stock are checked with Cuthban before order creation.
Recently viewed
Product identifiers may be kept locally under northhouse:recently-viewed:v1 to support recently viewed products. Clearing this site's browser data removes them.
Analytics
No analytics identifier is configured, so optional analytics and its consent banner are inactive.
